Newsman and Writer My career in Journalism has led me to increasingly specialize in editing and writing for some of Brazil’s major nationwide newspapers and magazines issued from São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In about 50 years in the press area, I have been a reporter, a copydesk, editor, senior editor and editor in chief, as well as public relations, press agent, media official to the State of São Paulo and the Federal Goverment, author and ghost writer to officials and other authors. Throughout these years I have been lucky enough to travel to many places, since I was the travel editor for Folha de S. Paulo newspaper for more than three years, and the press chief in Embratur, the federal bureau for the travel industry in Brazil, not to mention many other media vehicles I have worked for.
